Last night was the last class in Wilton Cake Decorating Course 2. Its just a small oval cake that has a basketweave pattern along the edge of the cake. Then pre-made flowers and a "colorflow" birdie on top. I think it turned out really cute but the basketweave takes so long I couldn't imagine doing it on any thing much bigger.

This is so pretty! I've always wanted to take a cake class... how did you learn about it, how often and how much? so fun!
have you learned any cool "pirate" cakes yet? I think that's what we're going to theme his 1st birthday.
how was C's 9 month appt? what are the stats??
